BACKGROUND:
Currently, I am serving as the Medical Director at Me & My Child Specialized Hospital in Sana'a, Yemen. In this position, I provide strategic leadership and oversee the delivery of high-quality healthcare services. My responsibilities include managing medical staff, implementing healthcare policies, and ensuring the efficient operation of the hospital.
Prior to this, I worked as a Medical Consultant at United Insurance Company, where I contributed to the development and evaluation of medical insurance policies. I gained valuable experience in assessing medical claims, conducting medical audits, and providing expert medical advice to clients.
Furthermore, I have served as the Medical Director Deputy at University of Science and Technology Hospital in Sana'a, Yemen. In this role, I was responsible for assisting the Medical Director in managing hospital operations, implementing quality and patient safety initiatives, and ensuring the highest standards of care for patients.
Throughout my career, I have demonstrated strong leadership skills and a commitment to patient safety and quality improvement. As the Quality & Patient Safety Director at University of Science and Technology Hospital, I successfully implemented various quality improvement projects, conducted regular audits, and fostered a culture of continuous improvement.
In addition to my professional experience, I hold a specialization in Community Medicine from the Arab Board and a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery degree from Sana'a University. I am fluent in both Arabic and English, with excellent communication skills in both languages.
I possess a wide range of skills that are relevant to the position, including emergency response management, project management, administration, and public relations. I am proficient in the use of various computer applications and have experience with management information systems and networking troubleshooting.
